APOSTLE BONNIE BIGELOW
Apostle Bonnie Bigelow is the founder of Jesus is Lord Church of Deliverance (JILCOD) and Jesus Christ Fellowship International (JCFI). She was married to the late Elder Elvis E. Bigelow and from their union they were blessed with three beautiful daughters, Untia Bigelow, Te-jon Conyers and Angel Davis, who have been supportive of her and instrumental in her ministry through the years.
Apostle Bigelow accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior in April 1981. She was called to the ministry in 1983 and ordained as an Evangelist in 1985. Destined to be a servant of God, she worked in the field of evangelism for seven years. In her early years of ministry, Apostle Bigelow was mentored by Elder Samuel Collier who taught her about faith and miracles. She was a member of Pastor Shirley Sudler’s ministry until the Lord spoke to her and told her she was to pastor her own church. In 1990, God called her to pastor and JILCOD was birthed. Apostle Bigelow started the ministry with eight members and God allowed the membership to grow exponentially. God spoke to Apostle Bigelow and told her that there was a need for a Christian school for the children. In 1996, Jesus Is Lord Christian Academy (JILACAD) was established. God also gave Apostle Bigelow a vision of building a church, from the ground up, by trusting and depending solely and completely on Him. On March 29,1998, JILCOD held their first holy-ghost filled service in their brand new building.
Apostle Bigelow met Dr. Bobby Jones, the host and executive producer of the former Bobby Jones Gospel show, in February 1993. Dr. Jones later asked her to serve as his National Evangelist. The Lord continued to open doors for Apostle Bigelow’s ministry and allowed her to carry the Word throughout the country and internationally, in London, England; Canada; Israel; Nassau and the Grand Bahamas; and Seoul, Korea. Through Apostle Bigelow’s leadership, God blessed the choir to host its first live recording in June 1999 and for the ministry to acquire ELOHIM, a homeless shelter.
Apostle Bigelow was under the covering of Apostle Arthur J. Barner, for a season. She was ordained Overseer and then Apostle under Dr. Ronald Webb. In 2020, God led Apostle Bigelow to release the office of Pastor and to appoint new leadership for JILCOD. She was also instructed to change the name of the church to Jesus is Lord Church of Deliverance – Tabernacle of the Living God. As the founder of JCFI, she is the spiritual covering for JILCOD-Tabernacle of the Living God (Pastor Terrell Holmes); Be Ready Jesus Is Coming (Pastor Margaret Moon-Taylor); Jesus is Lord Praise & Worship Center (Pastor Jevon Scott); and Anointed Ministry Temple of Deliverance (Pastors Mary and Warren Morris).
Apostle Bigelow is a graduate of Heath Missions College with her Doctorate Degree in Religious Philosophy. She is also a proud grandmother and great grandmother. Apostle Bigelow states, “I WILL ALWAYS TRUST AND OBEY HIM.” God has given her an end times message which has transcended national and denominational barriers.
